I have not cruised with Cory as CD but had the opportunity to meet him when he came aboard Grandeur to shadow John Blair. He had just come from Carnival and was there to learn the ropes. I found him to be very personable and outgoing so I have good expectations for him.

If he was the CD in October on the Allure, I found him to be tolerable but not engaging.... Hope he will not be on the Enchantment. Yawn.

Just for general identification purposes. With all the RCI ships and some old and new CDs, a last name just helps to make things clear.

Just off the Independence OTS; Sophie was probably the worst CD I've encountered. Monotone voice, hardly any enthusiasm and just boring.

Of the current cruise directors, I am curious who has been with royal the longest?

internetwhiz

I was thinking the same thing about leaving the "old news" off the bottom. People who want to know can refer to the first post, and it's not really necessary to include it with every update since it rarely changes.

Funbobby68

That’s great news ..... fingers still crossed Mr Seymour will be onboard in September when we sail again ... he is the best by far

Funbobby68

Yes I agree, Graham Seymour is the best. Had him on the Navigator years ago.

DonnaK

However, after hundreds of posts, it will be hard to find if any of that "old news" changed. I personally don't mind if you keep it on every update. Smaller font is fine. If most object to it, maybe a link to the latest post with old news at the bottom of every CD update.

Slainte!

Donna, do you know if this means that Steve comes back to the Vision after Ken's two months?
