How many ranges are there at Quantico?
Today, 54 ranges support live-fire and demolition training for more than 40 Federal organizations, the Department of Defense, and multiple regional and local law enforcement agencies. Please Note: Aircraft supporting training or support to other agencies from the Marine Corps Air Facility at Quantico can also generate noise.

The Technical Report is suitable for government staff and anyone who would like to dig deeper into the subject of military training noise at Marine Corps Base Quantico. This document is designed to allow government staff to make better informed land use decisions with regard to rezoning, special use permits, site plan reviews, etc.

Impulse Blast Noise Analysis Report

Back in the Saddle training
Headquarters Battalion will conduct a Back in the Saddle training event for the purpose of refocusing the Marines and Sailors of the battalion on safety as the unit comes out of the holiday period.
Beast Slayer 2022
Headquarters Battalion is hosting a squad competition on March 11, 2022. All interested uniformed members that fall under Headquarters Battalion, TECOM and Security Battalion, MCBQ are eligible to participate. Put together a team of six and come and put yourself to the test!
Location
Most classes will be held at our private training facility in Northern Virginia. This site is in the forests on the southwest edge of Quantico Marine Base, west of Garrisonville, south of Warrenton, north of Hartwood. Detailed directions are provided upon enrollment.
