Do you have weekends off at FLETC?
The normal training week is Monday through Friday, but training may be scheduled on weekends, if necessary. When you check in at the Visitor Center, you will be provided a class schedule for your reference.
What do you wear at FLETC?
T-shirts, gym shorts, sweat suits, supporters, athletic bras, socks,and towels are provided by the Center for student use during physical training classes. These uniforms are required while participating in physical activities in the Physical Techniques Complex including after-hour activities.

The Artesia FLETC has three dormitories. Dormitory rooms cannot be reserved in advance, but requests for roommates (within classes) can be made in advance by calling your organization representative at FLETC. Dormitory rooms are individually heated and air-conditioned.

Physical Training CBP Officers are expected to move crates, crawl under vehicles, disassemble cars, and lift heavy boxes or luggage in search of hidden caches and other signs of illegal trafficking. CBP Officers are expected to respond to violent situations as they occur in a responsible, professional, and safe manner.
Can you have a beard at FLETC?
Just wear it and don't let them push you around. As long as it is under 1" you are fine by policy. The policy also says not to mistake the growing of a beard with being unshaven. There is a chief there that will let you know that is different.
