What are the rules for Del Mar Fairgrounds?
What are the general rules of Del Mar Fairgrounds? No outside food or beverages allowed on the fairgrounds. Shoes & shirt required, no swimsuits No weapons, cameras, recorders, lawn chairs, umbrellas, fireworks, pets or anything inherently dangerous are allowed.

When is the San Diego County Fair 2021?
Come visit "Homegrown Fun", the 2021 San Diego County Fair at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, from June 11 to Sunday July 4 2021. The fair is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. There will be plenty of fun, concerts, shows and rides. Limited tickets and parking will be available, and yes, there will be fireworks on the 4th of July. As part of the Homegrown Fun theme, you may submit pictures of pandemic-related home project you've completed this year for a special presentation.

Can you bring a cooler to the Fairgrounds?
Food: You may bring a cooler and picnic inside the fairgrounds, but drinks must be in factory sealed container and no alcohol. There are 6 picnic areas inside the fairgrounds. Also, there are several nice restaurants nearby, such as the Fish Market, Tony’s and Fidel’s Mexican restaurants. And don't forget those outrageous foods that you can only get at the fair, like the deep fried ice cream bars.
Can you get military discount tickets at the fair?
Military discount tickets - available for purchase on base only with appropriate Military ID: active duty, dependents, reservists, retirees, and DoD employees. Military discounts are not available at the Fair admission gate. For more information on prices and availability, call or visit a base ticket office near you.
