Online submission forms completed before January 18, 2022, must arrive at CGC headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, by February 18, 2022, to qualify for the old pricing. The new CGC Signature Series and lobby card grading fees apply to all submissions deliveredto CGC on January 18, 2022, or later.

Is CGC grading worth it?
CGC is well-regarded and there have been no major issues with their grading. According to anecdotal evidence from a number of collectors, CGC has incredibly stringent grading standards. Their Pristine 10 rating is on par with Beckett's Black Label.
How much does it cost to have a comic graded by CGC?
The grading fee varies depending on the age and value of the comic, ranging from $22 to $120 for most books. Comics with a fair market value above $3,000 however, are charged on a sliding scale of 3% of the book's value (minimum $150).
Does CGC give value?
CGC does not assign values to collectibles.
Can you get comics graded at conventions?
Both CGC and CBCS setup at most major conventions, where they can verify signatures on-site as well as accept your comics for grading. This option saves you from packing, shipping, and insuring your comics just to get them there.
Will CGC be at SDCC?
Frank Miller, J. Scott Campbell, Marc Silvestri and more of the biggest names in comics will be signing books with CGC at SDCC 2022.

Open Qualifier Phase
The Chess.com Global Championship kicks off on May 1 with the Open Qualifier phase, which ends on July 31, with a total of 81 events.
Play-In Phase
The Play-in phase follows the qualifiers, starting on July 11 and ending on August 5, with a total of 16 events.
CGC Knockout
The CGC Knockout occurs after the Play-in phase, starting on September 14 and ending on October 9.
CGC Finals
The CGC Finals occur after the CGC Knockout, starting on November 2 and ending on November 7.
