Why is Artisphere 2021 gated?
As Greenville’s first large-scale outdoor event to take place in 2021, Artisphere will be gated in order to manage crowd size. With timed and ticketed entry, patrons are strongly encouraged to pre-register for one, or more, of the ten 2 ½ hour time slots available per day.
Is Artisphere Greenville safe?
This year, Artisphere is committed to providing a safe venue for patrons to enjoy this much anticipated family-friendly festival. Artisphere is excited to keep art at the heart of this year’s event, and to promote sales for both the artists and for Greenville's vibrant downtown.
Waiheke Art Events
Events are our real passion and we love supporting local artists and the Waiheke art scene by creating unique events and pop-up exhibitions in a variety of interesting settings across Waiheke Island and in collaboration with our local businesses.
Winter
The Winter Exhibition was in collaboration with Rangihoua Estate on Waiheke Island and featured a live Raku firing of pottery. Pottery produced from the raku was displayed alongside works by local painters.
Live Raku
The Winter exhibition was opened with a stunning display of live pottery creation called a Raku, a type of low-firing process inspired by traditional Japanese raku firing. Western-style raku usually involves removing pottery from the kiln while at bright red heat and placing it into containers with combustible materials.
Autumn
Autumn was our very first exhibition and took place at the Kennedy Point winery on Friday, 9 April 2021.
