What is YMCA soccer?
Pass, shoot, score! YMCA soccer helps children learn the fundamentals of soccer as well as valuable life lessons. This program has age specific levels where players are taught basic game skills such as passing, receiving, shooting, footwork, and dribbling. Sportsmanship is emphasized and everyone plays.
When does registration open for the Richardson YMCA kids soccer tournament?

What is the summer soccer league?

What is youth soccer?
Youth soccer is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. Our program promises no try outs, no getting cut and no bench warmers! Every child plays at least half of every game while making friends and learning new techniques.
What does YMCA do for volunteers?
When you become a volunteer, the Y will introduce you to coaching and provide resources specific to the sport you coach. If your child is a player, getting involved at their practices can help them feel comfortable to practice with you outside of official practice time.
How many minutes of practice per week for Tiny Tots?
One 60-minute practice and 1 game per week. Teams available for ages 3-11. Tiny Tots, ages 3-5, is a developmental program that meets once a week for a combined practice/game. Ask your YMCA for more information!

Does Y have tryouts?
Unlike most club soccer leagues the Y has no tryouts so all kids can experience soccer in a fun friendly level playing field that allows all player to have fun. Soccer is a Spring and Fall sport and has more than 5000 players each year.
Does the YMCA have a refund request form?
All Refund Requests must be made in writing at the branch. Submission of the Refund Request Form does not guarantee a refund of any amount. All forms are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the YMCA Sports Director and Executive Director.
