When is lap swim open at GCS?

Reservations for lap swim are no longer required except during peak programming times (Mon-Thurs. 4-7 pm, Sat. 9 am-12 pm). Family swim is open from 1pm-3:30pm Monday-Friday. After 3:30pm, please check the Pool Schedule for family swim availability. *Please note when GCS does not have school we will not have family swim between 1pm-4:30pm. It is recommended to please check the pool schedule for family swim availability.

How many times a week can you swim at Thunder and Lightning?

Thunder and Lightning Policy. Please limit your reservations to 2-3 per week to allow space for other members to swim. Reminder: All family swim reservations must have an adult in the water to supervise swim time. Note: Internet Explorer is not supported when registering for classes.

Can you provide life jackets to non-swimmers?

We will now be able to provide life jackets (upon parent request) to those non-swimmers that need one. These will be properly sanitized between guests

Do you have to sign waivers for Y?

Members will be asked to sign an updated waiver before participating in any Y offerings. Waivers can be found here.

Do you have to have an adult in the water for a family swim?

Reminder: All family swim reservations must have an adult in the water to supervise swim time .

What time is the therapy pool?

Toning and Flexibility – Monday and Wednesday 10am to 1050am – Therapy Pool; Low intensity shallow water exercise with use of noodles and barbells. Focus is on core strength, range of motion and an overall toning of the body.

What time is water yoga?

Water Yoga- Tuesdays 6pm -650pm Therapy Pool: Aqua yoga is a restorative form of yoga that adapts the postures and principles of yoga, including breathing and mindfulness, to the warm water therapy pool. Aqua yoga helps you improve your physical strength, flexibility, posture, and body awareness, and reduce stress. Led by Aimee, AEA certified Aquatic Fitness Professional with recent training in water yoga through White Crow Yoga

Deep and Shallow Water Aerobics 9am to 950am Tues and Thurs – Advanced; Focus is on cardiovascular fitness, overall strengthening, toning and range of motion. Emphasis on core strength, range of motion and toning of the body by performing high intensity exercises in both deep & shallow water, utilizing noodles and barbells. Must be able to swim

What time is Power Workout?

Power Workout – 6pm to 650pm Monday and Wednesday – Advanced; One hour of intense deep & shallow water exercise, helping make you more flexible and fit. Emphasis on core strength, range of motion and toning of the body by performing high intensity exercises in both deep & shallow water. Must be able to swim

Do you need reservations for pool time?

Reservations are no longer needed for Pool time!
