SWA understands that there can be an increase of garbage around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and so it has allowed for residents to place excess garbage at the curb for pick up on the regular collection days that fall between November 26 and 29 and between December 26 and January 1. Residents should note that excess garbage placed outside of a standardized garbage cart must be properly secured in plastic bags (oversized or excess carboard boxes may also be placed beside the yellow recycle bin for collection). All debris should still be placed curbside by 6 a.m. on the scheduled collection day.
