How do you qualify for Virginia State Open?
Participation in Virginia State Golf Association events is open to individuals who (i) hold an active GHIN number issued by a licensed VSGA Member Club in good standing and (ii) comply fully with USGA Rules of Amateur Status.

What is a Vsga VIP card?
With the 2022 VSGA VIP Golf Card, golfers receive exclusive VIP rates, which cover 18 holes of golf and the rental of a motorized cart (unless otherwise noted), at 200 courses throughout Virginia and West Virginia. VIP rates and playing windows vary from course to course and are contracted with each participating club.

How do I track my golf handicap?
Handicap differential = (Adjusted Gross Score-rating of the course) X 113 / Course slope ratings. The course rating is simply the scores of a new golfer on a normal course under a normal playing condition. Slope rating is the rating of 113 for a course based on the standard difficulty.
