Does Utrgv have buses?

The Vaquero Express bus service connects the Brownsville, Harlingen, Weslaco, and Edinburg campuses, and the Rio Grande City campus via Valley Metro's Green Line at STC. Additional service is provided by Valley Metro to the Visual Arts Building in Edinburg.

When does Knight Mover run?

During the Fall and Spring Semesters: The Knight Mover Service operates from 3:00 AM until 6:00 AM Monday through Thursday morning. New requests are not taken after 5:45 AM in order to be able to complete any pending requests before 6:00 AM when the normal morning Campus Bus service begins. The Knight Mover does not operate Friday through Sunday mornings as the normal Campus Bus service is running.

What is Title VI of the Civil Rights Act?

Title VI - As a subrecipient of Valley Metro for FTA funds, UTRGV must comply with Title VI requirements. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 requires that no person in the U.S. be excluded from, denied the benefits of, or subject to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance on the grounds of race, color, or national origin. Any person who believes that they have been excluded from, denied the benefits of, or been subjected to discrimination on the Vaquero Express may file a written complaint with the LRGVDC Office of Human Resources within 180 calendar days of the alleged incident. What is a volt?

VOLT is a public micro mobility program specifically designed for efficiency and effectiveness . It is composed of a fleet of 23 electric street-legal vehicles equipped with safety and security cameras, unlimited high-speed data streams, and GPS vehicle trackers via Ride Systems. Ride Systems is an intelligent transit solution (ITS) that allows users to view real-time vehicle location, direction of travel, and estimated time of arrival at the push of a button. VOLT was designed as a fast, zero-emissions solution to serve the intercampus mobility needs of the Edinburg and Brownsville campuses. VOLT is made possible through a partnership with regional public transit provider Valley Metro.
