When are the final exams for the fall 2022 semester?
This page is updated throughout the academic year to reflect the most updated information. The Rules Governing Final Examinations are provided by the Provost Office. Fall 2022 Final Exams will take place Thursday, December 15, 2022 through Thursday, December 22, 2022, excluding weekends.
When are grades due for 2022?
Grading Deadlines: Grades are due from faculty no later than May 31, 2022. Exam Numbers: Exam numbers for spring 2022 can be obtained by students here.
When does the spring exam period start?

Requests to postpone an exam shall be made to the Registrar or the Dean of Students, NOT TO THE PROFESSOR. If you are unable to attend a scheduled examination or to continue your exam after you have begun, you must, as soon as circumstances permit, notify the Dean of Students or the Registrar.

If you miss the deadline you will be able to upload your answers and your submission will be marked late; give yourself time to log back into the Takeaway Exam page and upload your file .

The nature of the material allowed in an “partial open book” exam is determined by the faculty member. In a “closed book” exam, students are not permitted to make any outlines or other notes whatsoever before the exam proctor announces that students may begin.

The Takeaway Exam link is available from the left menu in Canvas. When you are ready to begin your exam, click the ”Start” link (located on the right side of the page) associated with an available exam to proceed to the next step. Note: Clicking “Start” will not activate the countdown clock on your exam.

The Registrar is responsible for granting postponements for purposes of religious observance, and for 2 exams on the same day or 3 or more exams in a row; the Dean of Students is responsible for all other postponements.
