What's new at NDTC 2022?
NEW 2022 All Star Information NEW IN 2022: No qualification is necessary for All Star teams to compete at the 2022 National Dance Team Championship. 2022 NDTC will be a two-time compete competition. This means that all performances will compete twice with Round 1 counting for 25% of the score and Round 2 counting for 75% of the total score.

In order to qualify for our National Dance Team Championship, school teams are able participate in one of the following three options: 1. Receiving a home routine trophy at a UDA camp* with 7 or more dancers in attendance. 2. Receiving a Superior Trophy at a UDA camp* with 7 or more dancers in attendance.

What is USA Cheer?
USA Cheer, the organization responsible for reviewing and updating cheerleading safety standards, has developed a comprehensive Dance Membership Program , which includes a background check, athlete protection training, acknowledgment of concussion training with return to participation guidance, and a member code of conduct. Beginning with the upcoming 2021-22 competition season, Varsity Spirit will require that all school dance coaches, choreographers and personnel wishing to access the warmup area, backstage, coaches’ box or music table at NDTC to have a USA Cheer Dance Membership.
