SunRail is a rail service moving people throughout the region by providing work and leisure travel opportunities; connecting communities. SunRail can make the daily commute fast, easy and affordable, as well as less stressful. The system currently operates over 49 miles with 16 stations through Volusia, Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties.

Why is SunRail free today?
SunRail, Central Florida's new commuter rail system, will provide free rides for passengers for two weeks beginning the first day of service on May 1st. The free service will last through May 16, with regular revenue service for paying passengers scheduled to begin on May 19.
Where does the SunRail in Florida go?
SunRail is a 48.9-mile commuter rail system in Central Florida. The 32-mile first phase of SunRail, which opened in 2014, serves 12 stations and link DeBary to Sand Lake Road, south of Orlando. Phase II South, which opened in 2018, serves 4 additional stations, south to Poinciana.
Can you bring food on the SunRail?
FOOD AND DRINK. No food or open food containers are allowed on SunRail vehicles. Passengers may bring non-alcoholic drinks onboard, but drink containers should be closed to prevent spills.
Can you hop on and off SunRail?
SunRail uses the distance traveled to calculate the cost of a trip. Riders traveling within one county will pay a different price than those traveling between two, three or even four counties. By Tapping On & Off, the fare is validated for the distance traveled and assures that the proper price is charged.
Is parking free at SunRail stations?
No bus shelter. The Florida Department of Transportation also provides Park & Ride lots at eleven SunRail stations. Parking at these lots is free and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can you take the SunRail to Disney?
The SUNRAIL is the first Train that goes to Disney Springs in Orlando.
Does SunRail have bathrooms?
Stations do not have restrooms; however, restrooms are available onboard all SunRail trains.
Does the SunRail train go to Miami?
No, there is no direct bus from Lynx Central Station - Sunrail station to Miami Beach. However, there are services departing from Lynx Central Station - Sunrail and arriving at Marseilles Hotel - 1741 Collins Ave via Orlando. The journey, including transfers, takes approximately 5h 57m.
What can you not bring on a train?
The following items are prohibited onboard the train: non-service animals, firearms and ammunition, hover boards, corrosive or dangerous chemicals and materials, incendiaries, martial arts and self-defense items, archery equipment, devices containing propellants, sharp objects, and similar items.
Can you bring snacks on a train?
Bringing Your Food Aboard You may bring your own food and beverages onboard for consumption at your seat or private Sleeping Car accommodations. However, you can only consume food and beverages purchased in Dining and Lounge Cars in those cars.

Plans for the route would allow commuter rail service SunRail to operate daily and share a corridor with Brightline in the International Drive area along State Road 528, connecting both to Walt Disney World Resort and to Orlando International Airport.
SunRail Stations and Schedules
Pick one of 16 SunRail stations that are closest to you. You have the option of driving to the station and leaving your car, riding your bike to the station, or getting a ride to the station. If you're bringing your bike, you're allowed to bring it on board with you for the ride.
