What is the sate cup?
Sate Cup serves as a qualifying event for the US Youth Soccer Regional and National Championships and President’s Cup sanctioned and conducted by US Youth Soccer.
How much is the CC registration fee?
Registration Fee – $350 per team – only CC accepted and charged at time of registration

How many players can be transferred to a VYSA team?
1 to Aug. 31). A team may have no more than five transferred players on its VYSA State Cup roster. A team may compete in only one State Cup competition during a seasonal year.
Can you refund a tournament if it is cancelled?
If the event is cancelled in part, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to refund teams that have not yet kicked off or give credit towards future events. Any potential refunds will be determined at the conclusion of the event.
Do you need laminated passes for the state cup?
There has been some discussion about the need for additional laminated passes since all player's and team official pictures now appear on the State Cup roster. This can be a second check of players and team officials but it does not take the place of current laminated passes. In the 15U-19U age groups, with the limited substitution rule, referees hold the passes during the game to make sure that the substitution process is proper for each team. Also the Regional and National Championships rules still require the presentation to the referee, of a laminated pass.

The MSYSA State Cup is the first level of competition for two (2) US Youth Soccer competitions. In State Cup, there are now two divisions. The top division (Elite Division) is expected to be comprised mostly of teams that participate in the NLC and MSPSP Premier 1.

U13 - U18 teams in the Premier Division will be competing to earn spots at the US Youth Soccer Midwest President's Cup and potentially National President's Cup. Regardless of division, each team will play 3 or 4 self-scheduled preliminary games. Teams who do well will advance to the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and then eventually the Finals.
