Where is the Aquatics Centre in Pyramid?

You will come into the Pyramid Recreation Centre through Entrance A (Aquatics Centre doors), located at the east side of the building (by the splash pad). You will exit at the far end of the hallway, across from the ladies/men’s change rooms. There will be signs posted throughout the building to help you find your way.

How many children can swim in the shallow end of the pool?

Regardless of swimming ability, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 12 years of age and responsible for their direct supervision, with a maximum of 2 children per parent/guardian and must remain in the shallow end. Parent/guardian must be in bathing attire and within arm's reach of the child (ren) at all times in and out of the water.

What is lane swim?

Lane Swim. Lanes are set out for lap swimming, providing an excellent opportunity to get fit! Fee: Regular admission. Aquafit. Intended for all fitness levels, come and reap the benefits of exercising in the water. Fee: Regular admission. Family Swim. A recreational swim for all ages.

There will be a maximum capacity of 10 people for Aquafit, 4 people for lane swim, and 20 people for family swim. How many lane pools are there at Aquatics Centre?

The Aquatics Centre boasts an indoor 4-lane, 25- meter pool along with an on-deck dry sauna, leisure pool, family change rooms and an outdoor splash pad. We are currently offering a lighter schedule of pre-registered programming at the Aquatics Centre with limited spaces to ensure your safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

What is the Pyramid Recreation Centre?

When is the age limit for indoor recreation?

Effective September 22 – October 30 , any patron under the age of 18 who is attending an indoor recreation facility for the purpose of “youth recreational sport” is exempt from providing proof of vaccination prior to entry.

How many seats are there in the Rock Rink?

The arena includes two ice pads, eleven dressing rooms, two referee rooms, up to 1400 seats for spectators and an enclosed viewing, licensed area on the second level that overlooks the Rock Rink.

  • Our indoor pool boasts four lanes at 25 metres in length with a deep end and shallow end and an attached leisure pool. A ramp and wide steps into the pool make it accessible for all. A nearby splash pad is available to enjoy in the warmer weather.
