SMU's 106th Commencement Weekend is May 14 and 15, 2021. The activities that make up Commencement Weekend showcase some of the University's best traditions and are designed to recognize the pride we all feel in our students' accomplishments.

When is the Spring Convocation 2021?
Spring Convocation will be virtual for the Class of 2021 and will be live-streamed on the Saint Mary’s University website and Facebook page on May 28, 2021 in three ceremonies. A virtual Convocation in May ensures the university’s continued adherence to public health requirements.
When will the Absentia form be released in 2022?
If you are unable to attend the ceremony to collect your parchment, please complete an Absentia Form by Tuesday, January 4, 2022 .
What happens after you submit your final grades?
Once all your final grades are submitted, a final review will be completed to ensure you meet all academic requirements to graduate. Once this review is complete, you will receive an email regarding your graduation status.
When will the transcripts be available for 2021?
