The final day of 2022’s Shaky Knees sent us off with some of the best acts of the weekend. After Saturday, my body was bruised beyond belief from all the mosh pits, and I couldn’t wait for more. We got to the park just in time for The Garden, one of my favorite bands at the festival.

To attend the Shaky Knees festival, you should be at least 18 years old. Every attendee below this age should be accompanied by the adult guardian.
Are kids allowed at Shaky Knees?
Shaky Knees is all ages, although we highly recommend not bringing in children under 8 years of age. Children 8 and under get in free with a ticketed adult. Limit 2 kids per ticketed adult.

Shaky Knees Festival does not offer onsite camping options. You'll need to book a spot at a park or campsite nearby.
Can you bring a bag to Shaky Knees?
Bags will be restricted to small purses, totes and drawstring bags only. Backpacks and bags with multiple pockets are prohibited. Hydration packs are allowed and do not need to be clear, but must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets in addition to the one holding the water reservoir.

Parking for Shaky Knees is available at the Atlanta Civic Center Lot. Entrance 1 is located on Ralph McGill Blvd and is open at 10AM-1AM. The parking lot will be on your right. Entrance 2 is located on Pine St and is open from 11AM-1AM.

How long does each artist play? This varies a bit but artists on the lower lines usually get about 40 to 50 minutes. Headliners will get about two hours to perform.
Can you bring alcohol into Shaky Knees?
Alcohol / Illegal Substances – Obviously you cannot bring these in with you, but almost everyone does. Sneaking this stuff into festivals is fairly easy, just use a little bit of creativity and think of where they won't be searching you when you go through the gates at Shaky Knees.

Yep! The RFID chip inside your wristband is waterproof, so no worries.
