What time does Royal Ascot 2022 start and finish?
Royal Ascot runs from Tuesday 14th June 2022 until Saturday 18th June. Racing action begins at 2:30pm each day and draws to a close with races at 6:10pm. Fans can tune in to watch the event for free on ITV from 1:25pm every day until 6pm, though the last two races of each day will be shown live on ITV4.
When is Royal Ascot 2018 and what makes it special?
Kicking off on Tuesday, June 14 and concluding on Saturday, June 18, we can expect fireworks (of a racing kind) on Ascot's hallowed turf. What makes Royal Ascot so special? The premier jumps festivals, Aintree and Cheltenham, have three and four-day meetings respectively, but Royal Ascot spoils us with five days of unrivalled Group 1 action.

The vast majority of the racing can be seen on ITV's main channel, which has exclusive free to air rights until 2023. Sky Sports Racing will also broadcast all 35 races. Furthermore, you can watch all live races from Ascot through the Racing Post website and Racing Post app.
What channel is Royal Ascot 2021 on?
Until recently the racing at Royal Ascot was the exclusive preserve of the BBC, but in 2012 the rights were taken over by Channel 4, who were able to capitalise on their advertising revenue to outbid the national broadcaster, then ITV took over in 2021, so we'll await confirmation of this year's broadcaster.
