GETTING HERE

Rodeo Austin is accessible through several highways and roads including: SH 130, HWY 183, HWY 290, FM 969 (MLK Blvd) and FM 973.

RIDESHARE

Our Pick Up and Drop Off lot is specifically designated for patrons dropping off children or for those utilizing rideshare services. It is marked with signage to make it easy to locate. The Pick Up and Drop Off area has moved to Lot G4. Patrons can access this area through Gate 1 on Decker Lane. Buses, limos and vans must also enter through Gate 1.

SECURITY & BAG CHECK

All bags are subject to a bag check upon entrance to the Rodeo Austin Fairgrounds. Firearms, knives with blades longer than four inches, or weapons of any kind are prohibited. Concealed carry and open carry of firearms is prohibited. Food items and outside drink are also prohibited, but exceptions for baby food/drink will be made.

ACCESSIBILITY

Rodeo Austin offers accessible seating options in our rodeo arena for guests with disabilities and their companions. These tickets are subject to a purchase limit of up to three companions per guest. All patrons must have their own ticket. For online purchases, these tickets are designated as Wheelchair Accessible or ADA/Companion.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO

Cameras with a professional lens (over three inches) or flash attachments, monopods, tripods, and selfie sticks are prohibited. Due to contractual agreements, video and audio recording inside the arena during concert performances is always prohibited.

Do you need a health card to sell livestock in Texas?

All livestock must enter through Gate 1 on Decker Lane. No health papers are required for market animals at this time. In cooperation with the Texas Animal Health Commission, all breeding animals (Junior Breeding Heifers) must have health papers current within 30 days. Exhibitors with falsified papers will receive a $250 fine.
