What is Rice Baseball hitting camp?

Rice Baseball is pleased to offer 3-week hitting sessions this Fall AND Winter. These clinics will offer the opportunity for players to receive specialized instruction from current Rice baseball coaching staff members and players. The camp will consist of individualized instruction, group work, and competition to help players further understand their swing and exemplify the traits of successful hitters. The camp will focus on swing mechanics, approach, competitiveness, and situational hitting. Each hitter will receive their own player profile in our Hittrax system, allowing our staff to capture and record data to help track results. Our Hittrax video feature will also be used to capture swings that will be available to be seen and captured upon request. Weather permitting, we will always have a hitting station taking place on the field, allowing each hitter to take batting practice under the lights. These hitting sessions will be a great way for players of all ages to develop their individual skills to become an elite hitter. There will only be 60 players maximum per session so spots will run out quickly!
