What's new in the 2022-23 Cincinnati Playhouse season?
The 2022-23 mainstage season will feature eight shows, several of which the Playhouse will stage at venues around Greater Cincinnati in the fall of 2022 as construction of the Rouse Theatre is completed. The Rouse Theatre will open in March 2023 with a new production of the musical A Chorus Line.
Where can I audition for plays in the Park Theater?
Auditions will be held at Plays-in-the-Park Theater in Roosevelt Park at 1 Pine Drive, Edison, NJ 08837. Audition dates are: Friday, April 1 from 7:00pm-10:00pm; Saturday, April 2 from 12:00pm-3:00pm; and Sunday, April 3 from 12:00pm-3:00pm.
When are Fall 2022 tickets on sale?
Single tickets to the Fall 2022 productions are on sale now! Tickets to the 2023 productions go on sale Monday, Dec. 5. What's new at the Rouse Theatre in 2023?
The Rouse Theatre will open in March 2023 with a new production of the musical A Chorus Line. The season also includes an Agatha Christie mystery, another chapter in August Wilson 's American Century Cycle and two world premieres, including a fresh take on the classic Western Shane from acclaimed playwright Karen Zacarías.
How much are the plays in the park in Edison NJ?
$7.00 per adultTickets. Ticket price is $7.00 per adult; $5.00 per senior citizen 60 and over, children twelve (12) and under enter for free with a ticket stub.
What time does plays in the park start?
8 pmAll shows start at 8 pm. The box office closes at 8:30 p.m. each show night. Tickets are $7 for adults; $5 for senior citizens 60 and over, children age 12 and under enter for free. In case of inclement weather, patrons should save their ticket stub for entrance to another performance.
KIDS SUMMER CAMP - 2022 - SHOW TBA
Join our popular Summer Theatre Camp for ages 6 (must have completed kindergarten) through age 12. Junior Counselor positions are available for ages 13 and older. Watch for exciting details! Registration will open the Monday following the local school systems’ Spring Break.
Playhouse After Dark Presents: The Rocky Horror Show
In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a household of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creep butler.
The Sweet Delilah Swim Club
Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids, and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage, the "Sweet Delilah" on North Carolina's Outer Banks. Need we say more?
The Father
This darkly humorous and deeply poignant play presents a sobering and emotionally intense look at the world through the eyes of a man experiencing dementia, a dramatic illustration of the physical losses which occur along with the mental ones. This production will star Ira David Wood III in the leading role. Not to be missed!
Let the Right One In
This play centers around Oskar, a bullied, lonely teenage boy who lives with his mother, and Eli, a young girl who has just moved in next door. A spate of sinister killings have rocked their town. Oskar notices that Eli doesn't go to school and never leaves her home by day.
