The most direct way to request Papal Audience tickets is to visit the website of the Prefecture of the Papal Household, where you can download the form to fill out. They ask you to include: Date of the General audience or Liturgical celebration. Number of tickets required.

Don't forget that to attend these celebrations you will need to pass through security scanners (like the airport) and long lines are to be expected. We recommend you if you have a regular public ticket and you are looking for a good place to arrive 1- 3 hrs before the scheduled start time.

About the General Audiences
Most Wednesday mornings, the Holy Father gives a General Audience. All pilgrims who are in Rome and would like the opportunity to see and pray with the Holy Father are welcome to participate. The Audiences are normally held in St. Peter’s Square, which can hold about 10,000 pilgrims.
Schedule for the Papal Audiences
As you might have seen at the Vatican website, the Holy Father’s official schedule is currently only published a few days ahead of the event, in order to allow for necessary adaptations due to the development of the current pandemic.
Requesting Tickets
Tickets for the Papal Audiences must be requested through the Prefecture of the Papal Household. Because this office is located in the Vatican, this can sometimes be a bit challenging, and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops have therefore set up our office to assist American pilgrims with requesting tickets.
