Is the Muny Express back for the 2022 season?
We are pleased to announce the Muny Express is back for the 2022 Muny season. MCT will have service to the Muny in Forest Park every Friday evening show of the 2022 season. Below is the schedule of shows served by MCT. Buses will arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to the show and drop passengers off directly in front of The Muny.

On Thursday night, Muny leaders announced a full seven-show season for 2022. It includes an encore presentation of a show cut short this past summer and two Muny premieres. What do you wear to The Muny in St. Louis?
The Muny is a casual theatre. As St. Louis summers can be quite hot, we recommend light and loose clothing. Most people wear dress shorts, khakis, polos, sleeveless tops or summer dresses.
What if it rains at The Muny?
A refund will be issued to the purchaser on record with The Muny. A donation receipt reflecting the rain check value will be issued for tax purposes.
Do Muny actors get paid?
Performers are cast on a per-show basis. All performers are signed to an Equity MSUA contract and are eligible for full membership. Contract/Salary: MSUA Contract. 2022 minimum is $1,155.00.

In a theater with 400 seats, an actor can earn more than one million dollars per performance.
What time should you get to The Muny for free seats?
Snag the Free Seats That's why the last nine rows of The Muny (more than 1,400 seats!) are always free to the public. Come early, though! Free seats are claimed on a first come, first served basis. The gates open at 7:00 p.m. each evening in Lichtenstein Plaza.
Can you bring food and drink into The Muny?
Bring Your Own It's tradition around here to enjoy a picnic before the show. Although we're proud to offer several on-site dining options, you're more than welcome to bring a basket of all your favorite snacks and drinks.
Does Muny still have free seats?
Free seats will be available at 100% capacity on a first come, first served basis. Will we have to wear masks at The Muny? Patrons who are not yet fully vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear masks.
Is The Muny Cancelled?

Was The Muny flooded?
ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – The show will go on at The Muny Wednesday night. Tuesday, massive flooding damaged the Forest Park staple, causing the performance of Legally Blonde: The Musical to be canceled. Most of the ground floor offices, wardrobe, carpentry shop and all of the lower level was underwater.
Are there fans at The Muny?
For the audience, they have fans that were put in seven years ago which run all night. For the cast, there is water available when they exit the stage. There are also fans blowing backstage.
Can you bring food into The Muny?

Can you bring a purse into The Muny?
As has been the case for several seasons, all bags, purses, backpacks and soft-sided coolers will be checked for prohibited items before entering the theatre. The list of prohibited items includes: weapons, glass bottles, aluminum cans and alcohol. Hard-sided coolers are also not allowed inside the theatre.
