Call-A-Ride
Call-A-Ride curb-to-curb service is available to everyone. The fixed route bus will flex off route up to 3/4 of a mile to pick up/drop off the rider, then return on route before the next scheduled stop. Be ready when the bus arrives by being out at the curb at your scheduled pick up time.

November 13, 2021 – Packet Pick-Up: COLEMAN PARK, MORRO BAY
3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Packet Pickup (packets are not mailed) 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm Pre-Race Briefing/Q&A Session (meet in front of Packet Pickup area).
November 14, 2021 -Event Day
Coleman Park – Morro Bay – Start, finish and transition areas are all located here. 6:00 am Transition opens. Packet pick up opens.

Effective July 1, 2021, Morro Bay Transit will return to pre-COVID full fare pricing and collection. Face masks are still required at this time per Federal regulations.

CDC order issued 1/29/21. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the CDC’s new order makes mask wearing mandatory for all who use public transit. If you cannot or will not wear a mask, you are not able to use Morro Bay Transit services. The order permits face masks only.

Effective April 15, 2020, Morro Bay Transit will limit the number of passengers in the vehicle to no more than 4 riders at one time. This will allow the bus operator and passengers to continue practicing proper social distancing while providing lifeline transport services for those in need.

While we are currently operating our normal schedule, transit services will be monitored and adjusted as necessary to continue providing basic lifeline services for the public and allow for services that will help promote social distancing and other individual risk minimization recommendations.

The safety, health and well-being of our Morro Bay Transit employees, customers and the community is a top priority for us and we are implementing a number of proactive measures in response to COVID-19. Morro Bay Transit is following the recommendations of the SLO County Public Health Agency as our guide for setting policies.

Morro Bay Transit urges riders to only ride public transit for essential travel and refrain from using public transit if they have symptoms of COVID-19. Notices have been put up on buses reminding riders to practice social distancing, and to protect our drivers, please stay home if you show signs of COVID-19 symptoms.
