When does my LMU membership expire?
Memberships are valid from July 14th through December 31st. Have a Pool Party at LMU! Includes tables and chairs set up upon arrival. No discounts for after-hours reservations.
Why did LMU change the dates on the academic calendars?
They are subject to change due to forces beyond LMU's control or as deemed necessary by the University in order to fulfill its educational objectives. All dates are inclusive. Academic calendars previous to Fall 2012 are found in the University Bulletins in PDF.
Is there loitering at the LMU pool?
No loitering is permitted in the bathrooms or hallway area. Lockers are available and sanitized after each use. Showers are currently closed. Fitness equipment is unavailable for use at this time. All chairs are placed six feet apart. In the event of the LMU Pool closing due to COVID-19 reasons, members will receive a 50% refund.

The Burns Recreation Center Pool at Loyola Marymount University is a 50-meter by 25-yard competition pool. It can either be set up in a short-course format (16 x 25-yard lanes) or a long-course format (8 x 50-meter lanes). Lane availability varies each day and is outlined in our monthly schedule.

Is diving allowed in a pool?
Running, dunking, pushing, piggyback rides, flips, and stunts off the side are hazardous activities (as well as others deemed so by the lifeguard on duty). Diving is only permitted at the deep end.

All lounge and deck furniture must remain on the pool deck.
