The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra (MYO) is a youth and family development program of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. For over 20 years, the MYO program has been all about developing life skills through the rehearsal and performance of music.

Teddy Bear Concert Series

The Teddy Bear Series presented by the Indianapolis Colts introduces preschool & kindergarten students (ages 3-7) to the orchestra through story, movement, and live music. Bring your child for a morning of music and fun with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra!

DeHaan Evening Classical Series & Coffee Classical Series

This season, the ISO travels the world from its home in Indianapolis. Enjoy the musical postcards, a sampling of the immense musical catalog of different countries, regions, and cultures, in this globe-trotting season-long adventure.

Printing Partners Evening Pops Series and Coffee Pops Series

This season will be a celebration of live Pops music! Our ISO musicians will be in the spotlight and showcase their mastery through a wide variety of performances: selections of Carmen accompanied by the elegant cirque acrobatics of Troupe Vertigo; the hilarious Christina Bianco on sale with the ISO; a selection of Jack Everly’s favorite Broadway pieces; and much more..

Bank of America Film Series

The magic of movies is in the music. This season features a breadth of audience favorites from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and Disney’s Mary Poppins to the legendary music of Mozart in Amadeus Live featuring the ISO and the Indianapolis Symphony Choir.

Music influenced by literature

Literature's impact on classical music is a theme that will crop up throughout the season, which ends with a finale that celebrates William Shakespeare. The symphony's Artistic Adviser Jun Märkl will conduct, and director and actor David Ivers will direct scenes.

Yuletide Celebration 2022

Frankie Moreno, Vegas Headliner of the Year winner, will return to host the symphony's hallmark holiday event for its 36th anniversary. Conductor Jack Everly will direct Yuletide, which will run from Dec. 2-23. Tickets will be on sale this summer, and more details on performances will be announced then.
