401k is available after 1yr of employment and pays $1 for $1 up to 4% of your wages. Maternity and paternal leave is available but is unpaid. GT offers FMLA as well. Telehealth is free of charge, as long as you have medical insurance.

EVV required service codes include T1019, T1020, S5125, and S5126. Please note that S5130 is no longer a valid service code. S5125 is now the correct code for SHC. Employers will need to make sure that all EVV required caregivers are using the Caregiver app by GT Independence to submit their time.

Can parents be paid caregivers in Michigan?
Friends and family members (with the exception of parents and spouses) can be paid for the care they provide. The individual works with the county case manager to determine the appropriate amount of care and then is granted a budget for care instead of receiving care services directly from the state.

The Mobile Caregiver+ app uses location services to capture a snapshot of the user's location at the start of the service and again at the end of the service, which is required by the 21st Century Cures Act. Location is not captured at any other time.

Can't get paperwork straight, always misplacing things, and getting pay late. If they misplace your trainings, you have to wait for your paycheck. They don't really seem to have everything together.

It's okay if you don't mind never hearing from management
I worked as a caregiver. Your jobs and hours are determined by the patient you are assigned to, meaning difficulty varies a lot. Some days all I did was cook and talk with the patient, others they had me doing yard work and laundry. It's not terribly difficult but the pay could have still been better.
