What is the Gorge Amphitheatre?

One of America’s premier outdoor concert venues, The Gorge Amphitheatre is a 20,000 plus seat concert venue that has played host to some of the worlds biggest performers. The Gorge Amphitheatre is located in the rural town of Gorge above the Columbia River in Washington, just 10 miles northeast of Quincy.

How do I pick up my tickets at Gorge Amphitheatre?

Tickets held at will call can be picked up on the day of the performance during the Box Office hours of operation. (Subject to change). The customer must present a valid form of identification, the actual credit card used, and the confirmation number to pick up their tickets. What are the parking options at Gorge Amphitheatre?

What is the flow rate at the gorge?

During aesthetic releases, the flow is 200 CFS, and during whitewater releases, the flow is 500 CFS on Saturday and 700 CFS on Sunday. Climbing and hiking down in to the gorge are not allowed on these dates.

What are the rules for Gorge?

For the safety of all Gorge patrons, please follow these simple rules: * No alcoholic beverages can be brought into the venue. There are alcohol beverage stands and lounges where you may purchase throughout the venue. Please bring a valid WA State approved ID. Acceptable forms of ID: A Driver License, ID Card, or Instruction Permit issued by any U.S. State or Canadian Province. A Washington Temporary Driver License (paper license). A U.S. Military ID. An Official Passport. A Merchant Marine ID. A Washington State Tribal Enrollment Card. ALL RULES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. Beer and wine can be purchased and can be taken to your seat in General Admission or Reserved areas. • No lounge and elevated chairs. Beach style are OK and rental chairs are available. • No laser pointers • Empty plastic drinking water containers will be allowed in. One factory sealed water bottles of 20 oz. size will be allowed in. Sorry, no factory sealed soda bottles please. • Food in clear plastic gallon sized bag (one per patron) will also be allowed in. No large, hard-shelled coolers or ice chests. • School-size or small backpacks are normally allowed in, but may be subject to change at the artists request. All bags are subject to visual search. NO Large Backpacks. • Emergency medical personnel and ambulance transport is on site. Camera Policy: Personal cameras are allowed in the venue. Flash photography, video and removable lens cameras are not permitted without venue approval. Subject to change at the artists request.

How old do you have to be to go to the Amphitheatre?

Children under the age of 2 are free in General Admission Lawn seating. Every one including Children will require a reserved ticket to access the reserved seating area. All ages are allowed inside the amphitheatre.

How deep is Tallulah Gorge?

One of the most spectacular canyons in the eastern U.S., Tallulah Gorge is two miles long and nearly 1,000 feet deep. Visitors can hike rim trails to several overlooks, or they can obtain a permit to hike to the gorge floor (100 per day, not available during water releases). A suspension bridge sways 80 feet above the rocky bottom, providing spectacular views of the river and waterfalls. Tightrope walkers have twice crossed the gorge, and visitors can still see towers used by Karl Wallenda. A paved path follows an on old railroad bed, perfect for strollers and bicycles, while mountain bikers can test their skills on a challenging 10 mile trail.

How much water do you need to hike Tallulah Gorge?

Tallulah Gorge’s trails are strenuous, so hydrate before your visit. Bring at least 32 oz. of water if hiking the staircase or gorge floor. Water filling stations and bottled water are available in the interpretive center.

Water thunders through the gorge as kayakers challenge their skills & spectators watch from the rim. Hiking & rock climbing in the gorge are not allowed on these dates.
