The third stop of the FWT22 will see the athletes cross the Atlantic for a triumphant return to Kicking Horse Golden BC, Canada. The new competition format means the Cut will happen here and it will be the last chance for the athletes to earn their place for the FWT22 Finals!

Our advice is to choose a pack between 30 and 45 liters, unless you know exactly how you'll use the pack. Skimo racers will prefer packs in the 10-to-15-liter range, while 20 to 30 liters works best for short tours or easy backcountry adventures.

How do you compete in freeride?
To compete in IFSA-sanctioned events, you must have an active and current IFSA membership. Memberships are required and offered for juniors (under-19), Freeride coaches, adult Freeride World Qualifier (FWQ) athletes, and FWQ Collegiate athletes.
How is freeride skiing scored?
Points are added to the 50 based on airs, tricks, and clean, fast skiing. For each air, riders can be awarded 10 or more points, depending on size and commitment. However, the more options to jump there are on a venue, the less points can be awarded for each air, as a final score cannot exceed 100.
