How long does NPC National Qualification last?
Compete in an NPC National Qualifier. This qualifies the competitor for competition on the NPC national level for a period of one (1) full calendar year after the year that the qualification took place. Example: If a competitor enters an NPC contest in October 2021, they are qualified through December 31, 2022.
How do you qualify for NPC Masters Nationals?
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSYou need to be at least 35.You need to be a current member of the NPC, 2022.You need to be a US citizen or permanent resident (green card holder).You need to have competed since January 1, 2021 in an NPC competition; no placing necessary.

How do I get an IFBB pro card?
In order to become an IFBB Pro, a bodybuilder must first earn their IFBB Pro Card. A bodybuilder looking to do this must first win a regional contest weight class. When a bodybuilder wins or places highly, they earn an invite to compete at their country's National Championships contest for that year.
Do NPC winners get paid?
Currently, there is no real cash-in hand prize money offered for NPC competitions.
What age is Masters for NPC?
Novice – Competitors who have not won their class in novice, open, masters. Master's – Age classes excluding teens, typically 35 years old or older.
What is the difference between NPC and IFBB?

The different divisions are Bodybuilding, Men's Classic Physique, Men's Physique, Women's Physique, Figure, Fitness, Bikini and Wellness. Each requires a different level of muscularity and leanness.
What age can you compete in bodybuilding?
There is no age limit to compete. We offer Masters divisions for those age 40 and older. Some competitions even have Grand Masters divisions for competitors over 60 years old! It's never too late to fall in love with bodybuilding.
Do IFBB pros get paid?
Professional bodybuilders earn money by placing in bodybuilding competitions. Hard work and dedication are essential to achieving professional status, but ultimately contestants are judged based on their overall muscle development, including mass, definition, proportion and symmetry.
Do Mr Olympia take steroids?
The regulatory body that oversee the Mr. Olympia competition – the International Federation of Bodybuilding – adopted the World Anti-Doping Code in 2003 and have continued working to keep the sport free of steroids and other banned substances.
