Will DTS hold a graduation ceremony in May 2022?
At this time DTS anticipates live, in-person commencement events and activities for May 2022, but will continue to closely monitor Covid-19 developments and will adjust its plans as needed. The graduation ceremony application will be available for all ceremony participants beginning December 1.
When do I need to apply for the 2022-2023 summer applications?
1: Admission to Candidacy application due for Summer 2022 graduates (including all references) February 1 – March 1: International Student Financial Aid Application for 2022-2023 April 1 – May 1: Need-Based Scholarship applications due for 2022-2023 Academic Year (returning/current students)
When is coursework due for the 2022 graduation ceremony?
Questions concerning participation in the 2022 ceremony should be directed to the Registrar’s Office. Coursework for fall 2021 graduates was due Friday, December 10 by 4:30 p.m. Coursework for spring 2022 graduates and summer 2022 graduates (participating in the 2022 ceremony) will be due Friday, April 22 by 4:30 p.m.

Preparation
The graduation ceremony application will be available for all ceremony participants beginning December 1.
Events
The DTS campus will be open for graduates, their families, and friends who may wish to visit the seminary. This is an opportunity to visit the DTS-Dallas campus as campus will be closed Saturday, May 7, the day of commencement.
Post-Graduation
All those who participate in the Commencement ceremony will receive an empty diploma tube when crossing the stage, not their actual diploma. Diplomas will be mailed to graduates from the Registrar’s Office following Commencement.
