How does everyone feel about the first two weeks being online? I prefer in person instruction because I find it nearly impossible to learn and concentrate online, especially for stem courses (math major here). But I’ve seen some people prefer it. Just want to see where everyone is at with this switch.

Do you guys think we will return to in-person instruction or stay remote rest of the semester ?
My opinion and feel free to disagree - is that two weeks of being remote won’t do anything to realistically lower the cases. It seems to be all for optics , and in reality it will take much longer than two weeks to slow the spread of Omicron. Looking at LA county cases, they are higher than they’ve ever been the whole pandemic.
