OneMIT Commencement Ceremony

All members of the Class of 2022 are invited to the OneMIT Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 27. This is for graduates of all degree programs in all Schools and the College and will take place on Killian Court (link is external) . Elements of the program will include the Academic Procession, speeches, and turning of the Brass Rat.

Undergraduate Ceremony

This ceremony is for anyone receiving a Bachelor’s degree. Names will be read and graduates will cross the stage at this ceremony.

Advanced Degree Ceremonies

These ceremonies are for Master’s and Doctoral candidates in the School of Architecture and Planning; the Schwarzman College of Computing; the School of Engineering; the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences; and the School of Science.

Graduation Photo Locations

There is an exciting photo opportunity for the fall Class of 2021 planned. The Office of Protocol and Special Events is setting up three (3) photo sites that will be decorated with balloons, UH banners and other commencement décor for you to take pictures in your graduation regalia.

Ticketing Information

Tickets will be required for all University Commencement ceremonies. Each graduate will be emailed a link to download six (6) electronic tickets. Graduates themselves will not require a ticket. Children two (2) years of age and younger will not require tickets. Additional tickets will not be issued.
