What is the oyster festival?
Hosted by the Shelton Skookum Rotary Club Foundation and attended by thousands, OysterFest is home to the West Coast Oyster Shucking Championships and is Washington State’s official Seafood Festival . The festival features hands-on water quality exhibits and the largest food menu this side of Bumpershoot! It's not all oysters, oysters, oysters – besides great seafood, you will find spring rolls, garlic shrimp, homemade strawberry shortcake, fresh cider, and more.
Is oysterfest a non profit?
Vendors at OysterFest are ALL non-profit. No commercial vendors here. Your OysterFest visit will help fund scholarships and local community improvement projects throughout the year.

CanalFest is only weeks away! 🎆 August 6 ‑ 8 , 2021! Enjoy 3 days of fun in Bellamy Harbor Park. Ontario Rides will be back with their colorful & fun midway; there will be Entertainment on the City Stage; Chimos Catering will provide plenty of fun food including fried dough, burgers, fries, pizza & ice cream.
Where are the yellow zones in New York?
New York has lifted several restrictions on gatherings in many areas in New York State. Specifically, those areas no longer under so-called yellow zone restriction include portions of central and western New York and the southern border. Yellow zones remain in two areas of the Bronx, one in Queens, one in Manhattan’s Washington Heights and one in Newburgh on the Hudson River, Cuomo said. In those spots, nonresidential gatherings are restricted to 25 people, residential gatherings are limited to 10, houses of worship can operate at 50% capacity and indoor and outdoor dining are restricted.
When do you have to wear a mask?
Any individual who over age two and able to medically tolerate a face-covering shall be required to cover their nose and mouth with a mask or cloth face-covering when in a public place and unable to maintain, or when not maintaining, social distance. Business owners may turn away potential customers for not wearing a face covering.

However, the Canal Fest can only keep growing with your help. Volunteers and Sponsorship Donations are always needed. We invite you to join in and be a part of this celebration. We are still preparing and we need your help. Volunteers make this type of event a success. Only a couple of hours of your time is needed.
Who is the organizer of the Seneca Falls Canal Fest?
The Seneca Falls Business Association (SFBA) is the lead organizer of the Seneca Falls Canal Fest. The Canal Fest traces its roots back to the Aqua Festival held in the ‘60s and early ‘70s. In 2016 with only 4 months of planning, the Seneca Falls Canal Fest was born.
