I absolutely loved my job until I got hired on and had to go to night shift
After your hired by BMW you have to go night shift and before the pandemic it averaged about 2-3 years to come back to day shift but now it has drastically changed that timeline. Personally I don’t think I can make it much longer, which is sad because I loved my job before. The benefits are great, pay is good, and you get 5 days off every 3 weeks.
No good
Not an easy job hard to move around and progress. The leadership has no concept of communication nor do they care for the line workers. You are a no body matter where you go.

Only enjoy the 5 days off! The chance to gain the experience & getting off. Not a family friendly schedule. Too many hours on your feet. Not what was expected.
Very laid back and relaxing work environment
A typical day at work is fairly slow but there are times where an issue arises and things get interesting. The most enjoyable part of the job is the fact that i can work at my own pace without anyone looking over my shoulder.

Early days, long hours but good pay. The managers are very fair, my co- workers are respectful of each other. The hardest part of the job is standing on your feet for 12 hours,
Productive and high demanding job to work
The work load can often times get very stressful because the hours and the demand for cars fluctuates. There are hundreds of different jobs within the entire plant itself. I can only speak on being a production associate which is the bottom of the food chain. Being a production is tough on body after a long period of time.

The waiting of two years and putting people on block is ridiculous. People grow and learn more as they get older give people another chance. I didn’t like the crazy schedules.
