AVENUE Q
This laugh-out-loud musical tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton, who moves into a shabby New York apartment out on Avenue Q. He soon discovers that, although the residents seem nice, it's clear that this is not your ordinary neighborhood.
CLUE
Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie, which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects.
GREASE
Here is Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding "Burger Palace Boys" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies" in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical.
la cage aux folles
In this beloved 1983 Broadway hit which won the Tony Award for Best Musical, the sparkling “Cagelles” (men in drag) perform lively musical numbers to Jerry Herman’s Tony-winning score with a book by Harvey Fierstein that’s as hilarious as ever.

The show has four performers who do not literally play the same characters throughout the show but have consistently developed character arcs nonetheless.

Who is the actor who earned his equity card at the barn?
This place is such a treasure, both for patrons and for the summer stockers who get the opportunity to earn their equity stripes sharing the stage with some big names (like Guiding Light alum Robert Newman, who himself earned his equity card at the Barn and is once again guest starring this season in shows including "Hunchback of Notre Dame," which opened last night and runs through June 25 and "Lion in Winter," in which he'll co-star with fellow Barn bigwig Kim Zimmer July 25 - Aug. 6).
Is the Barn Theatre a good place to visit?
The Barn Theatre is incredibly unique, and this is why you should go. It's an experience quite unlike any other theatre that I've been to. Therefore, I can't encourage you enough to go at least once. That being said, like most theatres, it's not perfect and you should also be aware of its (few) shortcomings.
