Exhibitors from Texas and across the nation travel to Austin each year to show their animals. Rodeo Austin hosts fifteen different livestock and horse shows during the Fair and Rodeo in the Show Barn. Fairground admission grants fairgoers access to each show. Viewers at home can also watch each show on RA TV—Rodeo Austin’s very own livestream.
Is there a deadline to enter the Texas State Livestock Show?
Extraco Events Center and the Heart O’ Texas are proud to offer year-round opportunities for youth development. The livestock entry deadline was August 25, 2022. To late enter into the livestock show is a $500 fee. We would not be able to accomplish our mission without your generous support of the youth of Texas!
How do I participate in the Texas rodeo Austin Junior Livestock Show?
Viewers at home can also watch each show on RA TV—Rodeo Austin’s very own livestream. More than 8,000 entries compete in the hopes of placing top in their division and earning a place in the Youth Auction. To participate in the Junior Livestock Show, exhibitors must be members of 4-H or FFA.
What is Heart O’ Texas Livestock Show?
The Heart O’ Texas Livestock Show, presented by Bar None Country Store, continues to bring in some of the best livestock and exhibitors from across that state of Texas. From livestock shows to contests, including an Academic Rodeo, in 2021 HOT awarded over $100,000 in scholarships and over $80,000 in premiums.
