How many weeks are in an Auburn semester?

15 weeksAcademic Year: Auburn's academic year is divided into 3 semesters. We begin with the Fall semester, followed by the Spring semester. Each one of those is 15 weeks long. We also have a Summer semester which is 12 weeks long.

Summer Start Vs. Traditional Summer Enrollment

Students who elect to participate in Summer Start must pay their enrollment deposit and initiate and finalize the full registration process through the Summer Start website in advance of the summer term. To receive the Summer Start rate, students can only enroll in course sections from the Summer Start list below.

Courses

Students receive an intensive study of and practice in effective expository and argumentative writing. Course is 3 credit hours. Students who earn a 30 or higher on the ACT English test receive credit for this course at Auburn University. Offered full summer term only.

When will waitlisting end in 2021?

Fall 2021 waitlisting will be ended Thursday August 12th at 4PM. At that time the next student on the waitlist will have 24 hours to complete registration before waitlisting is completely turned off on August 13th at 4PM.

When are final grades due for a course?

Final grades due by 9:30 PM. Once a faculty member submits the grades for a course, those grades must be "rolled" to academic history before they can be viewed by students. Please, note that grades will be rolled and available for viewing based on the above schedule.
