When can I register for Anime Milwaukee 2022?

Registration is now open for Anime Milwaukee 2022 on February 11-13, 2022. We are planning for an in-person event at the Wisconsin Center and Hilton City Center Milwaukee and will have more information on policies and safety as the event gets closer.

In order to access Anime Milwaukee events and rooms, you must have an Anime Milwaukee badge. We suggest buying a Sunday one-day pass as the most affordable option for the exhibit hall or a Saturday one-day pass for Nocturnal Underground (rave).

How do I get an Anime Milwaukee badge?

If you have a smartphone or tablet, you can access the Anime Milwaukee website when you arrive at the convention and order your 1-day badge online via our registration site. You can skip the pay stations and go straight to the badge pickup line. VIP and group registration are not available at the door.

Why is it called MomoCon?

The word "momo" in Japanese means "peaches", and its host state, Georgia, being the "Peach State" led to the naming of MomoCon. Every year, MomoCon has a theme that goes into the design of the convention that year.

How long does acen accreditation last?

How often are programs reviewed by the ACEN after being granted initial accreditation? A program is reviewed five (5) years after initial accreditation is granted. Once continuing accreditation has been granted, the program is reviewed every eight (8) years.

What is the difference between acen and CCNE?

The main difference between the two organizations is that ACEN accredits all nurse education levels, but CCNE acts as an accrediting organization for graduate programs and fellowships. ACEN also works with several government agencies to ensure their programs meet required standards.

Anime Milwaukee began 13 years ago as a small event at UW-Milwaukee. These days, the three-day anime convention attracts over 10,000 people to the Wisconsin Center and Hyatt Regency Milwaukee downtown. It’s the biggest fandom-based convention Milwaukee currently has to offer.

When are panel applications due for 2021?

Thy are mandatory for all groups and individuals running a panel. Applications are due no later than 11:59pm, November 30, 2021. After the deadline has passed, all applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified via email. This goes for whether your submission was accepted, waitlisted, or declined. Submitting an application does not automatically approve your panel. Your panel is only final if and when you receive written approval from the Panels Department Head or the Director of Programming.

What is a panel in anime?

A panel is usually an open discussion about a certain topic (such as a specific anime/manga/fandom/webtoon/game series or other related topic). Some panels may include games or quizzes, how-tos, or an introduction to a topic.

What does "waitlisted" mean in a panel?

Waitlist - the panel is pending, meaning we cannot include it in the schedule at this time. Waitlisted panels may be moved onto the schedule if other panels get cancelled.

Can an anime Milwaukee officer confiscate your badge?

If we are led to believe that you are being disrespectful or not following rules, an Anime Milwaukee Officer can and will confiscate your badge.
