The 2022 trash and recycling calendar for the Streets Division collections is now available. This calendar provides the trash and recycling collection dates of 2022 for January through the end of July. The calendar for your home is available on the Streets Division’s website.

New Year’s Day – Saturday – January 01, 2022. On these holidays the Landfill is closed and we are closed. All customers who have a pick up day that falls on or after one of the listed holidays will be picked up one day later, and will go back to their normal pick up day the following week.

What are acceptable items to recycle?
Acceptable items: Corrugated cardboard (break-down boxes), paper, aluminum and steel, plastics #1-7. Recycling must be clean (i.e., no residual food or liquid). Separate milk cartons from cap and ring, which are a different plastic type.
Can you recycle glass in an all in one?
A note on glass recycling: Although glass is recyclable, it cannot be place in your All-In-One recycling bin. Your All-In-One recycling is hand-sorted, meaning broken glass poses a danger to employees. For that reason, glass is prohibited and must be taken to a glass-only drop off location.

If American Disposal Systems is unable to pick up your trash due to the weather, it will be picked up the next business day. Also note that in the case of inclement weather, you can check the website ticker for pickup information.
