How do I drop a class AACC?
You can drop your class by completing the noncredit drop/add form and submitting to iscenter@aacc.edu or fax 410-777-4325.
Are community colleges free?
Some community colleges in the United States offer free tuition, but the vast majority are not free. As of 2022, 20 states provide tuition-free community college, meaning that if you are a resident of that state and meet certain requirements, you can attend classes free of charge.
Does AACC have dorms?
AACC does not provide on-campus housing. As part of the financial aid awarding process, student housing for cost of attendance is determined by the information as reported on the FAFSA by the student. Students who list housing status of with parents or on campus are considered living at home with parents.

What is a passing grade at AACC?
Minimum Standards Minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) = 2.0. Credit completion rate (pace) = 67 percent. Students must pass at least two-thirds (67 percent) of the courses attempted, as measured by comparing total completed credits to total attempted credits.
